8^th District Resolutions

Resolution to Amend Article 8, Section 1, of the Eighth District American Legion Constitution and Bylaws as adopted on November 1, 2008.
WHEREAS: Nominees for multiple Department and National Awards are presented annually to the Department on or before May First: WHEREAS: The Eighth District American Legion Department of Wisconsin is required to meet that deadline for their nominees to be considered for such awards; BE IT RESOLVED; That Article 8, Section 1 of the Eighth District American Legion Constitution and Bylaws currently reads: The District shall hold two conference a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The time and date will be set by the District Commander, within two weeks after the Department Executive Committee meetings. Be amended to read: The District shall hold two conferences each year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
